The ASEAN Chartered Professional Engineer Coordinating Committee (ACPECC) convened for its 52nd meeting to discuss a range of issues related to the engineering profession in the ASEAN region. Key topics included the application and approval process for ASEAN Chartered Professional Engineer (ACPE) status, updates on the ACPE register, and the mobility of engineers within ASEAN. The meeting also reviewed progress on the ACPECC Roadmap and discussed future activities to further the ASEAN Mutual Recognition Arrangement (MRA) on Engineering Services. Updates were provided on various initiatives, including the ASEAN Engineering Awards, Capacity Building Programs, and an Internship and Exchange Program. Additionally, the meeting addressed the registration of foreign professional engineers (RFPE) and received reports from five Sub Committees under the Technical Working Group on Mobility of ASEAN Engineers (TWG-MAE) and the Myanmar ACPE Forum 2024 held on 21 May 2024.
