Capacity Building for All ASEAN Member States


At the 6th Meeting of Technical Working Group on Mobility of ASEAN Engineer, Cambodia informed about the capacity building activities of webinars and trainings, carried out by ASEAN Federation of Engineering Organisations (AFEO) and Federation of Engineering Institutions of Asia and the Pacific (FEIAP), during the 2021 COVID-19 pandemic, as follow:

  • Outcome-based Engineering Education Training No.3, Electrical Installation Standards in Brunei;
  • Youth Talent Development;
  • Standing Committee on Natural Disaster (support, information, and communication);

  • Electrical Installation in Indonesia;
  • Developing an Earthquake Early Warning System in Bangladesh;
  • ASEANising Electrical Engineers "Standards & Sustainable Development Goals", Industrial Big Data Analytics (IBDA);
  • Rejuvenating Disaster Resilience Strategy in a COVID-19 Transformed World: A Community Isolation, Transdisciplinary Approach;
  • Industrial Artificial Intelligence (IAI);
  • Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and Environmental Requirements for Design and Implementation of STPs (sewage treatment plants) and ETPs (effluent treatment plants).

The information above should be appreciated and could be useful for ASEAN Engineers and ASEAN Chartered Professional Engineers in developing their capacity and competence.
